Started pulling the trans in my coupe. Clutch is releasing way too high. I am one of the guys who resisted the idea of needing an adjustable pivot ball with my rst/rxt, but I may have been wrong.

The flywheel you use may make as difference because I have a fidanza in my vert, and I have no problem at all. But the McLeod aluminum in my coupe is too tight and there is no room for adjustment, so I will try a shorter pivot ball and post up results. Both cars daily drivers.

I installed my Christmas present.

I went back to factory wheels on my Vert. I think the black wheels give it a hot rod look while the factory wheels give it a classic look.

The black wheels with your car's stance looks amazing. It is nice to have the option to swap wheels from time to time.

Got the car back together, but don't really think it was the pivot ball. It did adjust the angle for the better, but the RST is done after only 8k, the fingers are up past the pp.

My previous RXT lasted 14k, so perhaps the organic disc material of the RST isn't as well suited to a torquey, heavy car such as ours.

They also have a kevlar disc option, so I maybe I will try that this time.

Wow thats not very impressive life you're getting out of your clutches. Aren't your cars just pullied? and do you track them?

I know! I do track them a couple times a year, and generally drive them hard on the street (sometimes with drag radials), but I should be getting more than that huh? Upper pulley only

Bummer. I guess I'm glad I went DYAD over the RXT.

Yeah hopefully you will get more out of it. The DYAD's look like nice pieces.

I have driven over 160k between both cars and have kept a maintenance log of everything, so I'll see how much mileage I've gotten from each clutch and post it up.
