Audi SQ5? As much as people have mentioned Audi, I'm surprised the SUVs/CUVs weren't mentioned. I've seen an A8 dead stuck in 8" of snow, so I'd stay away from the sedans, if heavy snow is a regular occurrence. Though, that was an older model, the car's computer was still struggling trying to find out which end could get some traction while the undercarriage was beached on the snow. It seemed inefficient while it was sending power back and forth from the front and rear. It was nice driving by them in our old Forester XT as it sent power to all four wheels the whole time. Even some Wranglers and 4x4 trucks were getting stuck while we kept on trucking. (On all season tires, no less.)

'17+ Forester XT then get a Cobb tune and some STi springs. It has an unbelievable amount of rear seat room. I'm 6' tall, and sitting behind myself, I have a TON of extra leg room back there. If it lives up to the reputation our '06 XT built, I wouldn't want to be in any other vehicle in inclement weather.

Aren't the E-class vehicles basically the econoboxes of the Mercedes lineup?

E class would be the most reliable in my opinion. If you get an E350 with regular suspension. My 06 had 160K miles, I sold it to one of my techs and it's still running strong. The 13 I just picked up has 106K and runs/drives like it's new. The C's and CLA's are lower level cars and are just beat to death. S class is awesome vehicle, but you don't want to own it out of warranty.

I love my A6 with the 4.2 V8, all wheel drive, heated seats and steering wheel. I bought it used off a lease return 4 years old and paid less than half of the sticker with 40K miles.

Mid-size sedan: BMW 540xi or M550xi depending on how much power you want.

Mid-size SUV: 2018 X3 M40i

I may be biased. Audi is a pile of shit I hated working for them.

not at my post...
Jaguar was junk! Wtf. Car was falling apart. No clue how this passed CPO inspection.

Lots of plastic too.

My uncle used to only drive XK, XKRs, but he would only lease them...drove the shit out them, always turned them in around 2-3 years and would just pick up another, sometimes even the same color. I did notice they seemed to have quite a few quality issues regarding interior and exterior trim etc. Now that he has sold his company, he's bought his dream car, Bentley Continental GT...

And if you're not looking for a new car I'd still take a CPO F10 535xi or 550xi over the other cars you mentioned!! And if you like the A7 try the 640 or 650xi Gran Coupe.

Could you not find a Jeep SRT?

Looks like he is staying away from SUVs...but obvious answer is obvious, he just wont listen! :D

OP I agree with you on the A7. Audi has been making some killer cars recently. MB has never excited me, BMW has turned into boring barges, I'd always pass on jaguar.

SQ5 is a bad ass SUV, especially with a tune.

Yes, i'm staying away from SUV's at the moment...rather have a sedan. I'm going to most likely make my decision today. Leaning heavily toward the A7. It has very low miles and has warranty through 2020 from Audi.

Performance was great as well...There is a 2012 A8 W12 at the same lot...low miles as well. 150K car for mid 50's. Should I even drive that or will that **** everything up? I would have to get a warranty with something like that as well...so add a few K for that! Ha.

Drive everything you can. You can never test drive too many. That's how I fell in love w/the MS6 back in 2007. I was going to buy a TL & test drove an MS6 on a whim. Bought my 1st brand new MS6 soon after. You never know what you will end up wanting!

LOL! You can't call Audi a pile of shit, then proceed to praise BMWs. You lose all credibility.

Infiniti Q70L is a low 13 second car whereas the precious SHO is a high 13 second car. Not to mention that the infiniti is way better all around. That being said, this is not a discussion of modded vs. stock daily drivers.

Used CTSV will shit all over a SHO any day of the week and can be found for high 40's low 50's. Want to argue what a SHO can do against a CTSV?

SHO/MKS is a low to mid 13 second car stock and high 12's with nothing but a tune.
