Anyone else frustrated with Ford over the next GT500?

Exactly, I don't want to bother him cause he would just say, 'nothing to worry about'. It would actually make me feel bad to ask him to go thru the trouble, but know he would if I asked.
Only thing I'm worried about is them not being able to get the R or KR version, IF it comes that way. Maybe ford will just have multiple options so that we can build them with say, carbon wheels etc.

I was also told that even if I put down a $10,000 deposit that I would have pay adm of $50,000-$100,000, or whatever they think they can get. I have the text from the manager to prove it.

did you laugh at him? this isn't 2003 or 2007. There are many cars with big hp out there to choose from.

This ADM business is so fascinating. In 2012 when Lexus released the LFA, the actual deal and financials stateside were handled by Lexus USA. Owners were contractually bound by a lease for 3 years. Read: for the first 3 years Lexus technically owned ALL LFAs worldwide. It was only after that initial period when Lexus began to allow owners to convert their leases into purchases.

Lexus actually sold the LFA for a few hundred thousand LESS than what it cost them to produce... They went through such lengths as to control flippers and ADM prone dealers in their network.

Hearing that Ford allows its dealers to add insane ADM to their Halo cars is a little disheartening. I don't even want to know what the original buyer of my 2011 paid in ADM for owning the first year Aluminum block GT500 with Performance pack...

1. Ford has recognized flippers and those profiting on first cars out with the NFGT. Ford went out of their way to deliver the car at msrp to those who deserve them most.
And people are still pissed.

2. Ford could create allotment similar to the NFGT, however then it will still be Fords fault as someone that should will not be able to buy.

3. The mustang GT500 is still a mass produced vehicle. 5k+ units will be built.

4. A few will pay $30k more to get the first one because they have too much money. This does not mean 1k or 5k people will.

5. Why do people pay $30k to have the first Shelby but the first zl11le have advertised $5k rebates on them?

I'd love to see a buyer order anyone has in writing saying they have the first allocation for the next GT500 at MSRP...(with customer info blocked out of course).

Because over the course of the last 10 years and 3 different SVT purchases, I've never seen a dealer that would sign a buyer order/purchase agreement for a car that wasn't announced.

DepWraith's knowledge of all things Ford (and especially the next GT500) is not to be questioned as evidenced below.

Well they haven't been working on a TT 5.2, so I would doubt that. Now a TT 5.0...that they have been working on. I'd also make a very informed guess and say they were 62mm each.

Plenty more where that came from!! LOL.

I actually just got out of my dealer, I just purchased a car for the wife. I talked with the owner for 1/2 hr about the upcoming GT500. He again said, 'we're ready to take your order as soon as banks open for it', no need for a deposit, we know you're good for it'

There is no reason for me to ask it in writing, he offered me the Demon at msrp, and actually ordered it and cancelled, he offered me 350's msrp, the trackhawk at MSRP, RS's at msrp. There isn't a reason to doubt him.

I was offered a 2016 350R last year for sticker, I had to turn it down, had too much going on at the time, family and business matters.

Still kicking myself over that one but it wasn't meant to be at the time.

Fact: We know nothing, everything is conjecture.

Fact: Since no official announcement has been made by FORD (don't think a document hasn't been doctored to fool anyone or a photo for that matter... that of which could be in fact part of a water to air intercooler since there is nothing at all showing it's a supercharger top; and if it is, nothing showing it's for the GT500).

Fact: It's ridiculous to say anyone is wrong at this point seeing how nobody has any legitimate proof whatsoever.

This is supposed to be forum for sharing information. God forbid if different people get different information from different people that doesn't match, especially on a project of this magnitude and importance to FMC. This should be a given and it should also be a given that until an official announcement, we really don't know what information is correct or incorrect.

With that said, I know further snide remarks will follow my post. I also know that despite those forthcoming remarks, not one person will post proof of anything, they will just spout off internet conjecture without verifiable sources.
