One possibility for the PD blower is because the FPC motor has low torque in the lower RPM range and the blower would help make up for this? Just a guess. Agreed that the high revving capabilities of the FPC doesn't seem to coincide with a PD blower.

Scott, a memeber on here has a 11 or 12 Base 6r80 Coyote car with a VMP Gen2r that makes over 900 wheel hp, runs 8s at over 150 mph, and revs to 8100 rpm.

Id say high RPM and a PD blower can work perfectly fine together.

Imagine if this new GT500 has the new 2650R?

I think we'd all prefer turbos, but the new Eaton TVS is going to be a bad ass blower.

not all FPC are created equal. I remember reading an article, on SVTP of course, about the FPC used in the GT350 saved 5% rotating mass (IIRC)whereas other manufacturers FPC saved +50%.

edit: so maybe this FPC is beefier and able to handle boost + rpm.

If you look back, it was the very same people who said you were wasting your time arguing about Hot Vees and large displacement N/A vehicles who are now reading this thread. Which people? The very same people.

It was only possible to make those statements if you knew those arguments were pointless. If it was possible, it could have been true. How true? Very true. As true as truths told by the very same people whose truths were told by people that knew these arguments were a waste of time, and had no basis in reality.

Honestly.

Even if @thePill is 100% correct on every statement he's ever made...he is still the most annoying member on the forum lol
Imagine how annoying it is trying to discuss technical information about future products 12-18 months in advance...

...to people that have zero understanding of the automobile in general...

...then grow hostile when you call them on their bullish!t.

You people have ruined, and continue to ruin this section. Nobody cares about thePill so stop bringing it up.

There is new information posted by the site owner/admin. Just stick to the topic and stop whining about people. There is an ignore feature I believe and I suggest you ignore.

What blower is he running? Like it or not a centrifugal would outperform it at high rpm. Thing is with FI in general you don't need high rpm.

Hes running a VMP Gen2r... Please show me a Centri powered Coyote that is going faster. I now Terry was close.. but he is a full on race car. Scott's car is a street car.

With a Centri you absolutely need RPM or you have nothing.

Another point. That's a dedicated race car as well. No street car is running 8s at 150 with a 2.3l blower.

Not at all a dedicated race car. He drives it to the track. Do you know the car im talking about?

Do you have a point relative to the thread or are you just arguing a losing point to argue?

LOL he drives it to the track. That doesn't make it a street car.

Point is there are things done to that car that won't be done to any street cars. So your comparison is useless and moreso pointless. One random example can't be cited for results that determine how all other stock or near stock cars will perform.

That little 2.3l TVs may net 8 sec passes combined with non stock weight, but I'm sure it gets hot as hell in the street and don't have to think to know there are far more efficient choices out there.

Try not to take these comments as personally as you have been.

That's not my point. One random case proves nothing.

Why are the supporting mods for the 8 sec car and what does it weigh? Add up all the differences vs a stock or near stock car. Do you think it had mods like headers or cams that allow the blower to work more efficiently?

Define RPM as stated. 8500rpm, 8000rpm, 7500rpm, 7000rpm, 6800rpm? Fact is they are all high enough to make power with any form of FI.

The point i was illustrating relative to the thread was that a PD blower can work with a high RPM motor. What was yours again?

You ventured off into a debate questioning a car's capabilities you know absolutely nothing about--which is amusing because it is WELL documented on this forum.

Yet you know better. LOL.

Don't know the car in question and don't have to.

See above. I rest my case.

Honestly ET and Trap are the wrong arguments to make. You need a dyno graph to show the curves to back what you're saying.

Its available....

Post with full mod list and weight. Not sure why you're so butt hurt. No one said the car isn't fast. There are always more than one way to skin a cat. Fact is PD isn't the most effective way to make power at 8k.

My pint was that PD isn't the best way to make power at high rpm. You contorted my statements to fit your (horrible) argument that a single random race car proves that notion wrong.

Surrounded by libetards.
If everything he's said is correct the GT500 will have 5 motor options with choice of NA or FI, 3 transmissions to choose from and reverse the rotation of the earth even if the pavement is wet.

Honestly.

lol.. 10/4 bud.

You need a lesson in reading comp.. that is pretty clear.
