Do yourself a favor and get a harbor frieght trans jack. It makes that reinstall soooo much easier.

i would, but the closest harbor freight store to me is a 3 hour round trip that i don't have time to make and i really want to get it done this weekend.

if i ever have to take this junk out again, i'll probably grab a trans jack

I actually washed the car today after sitting in the garage for months on end. No wax or quick detail. Did the engine bay, tires, interior.

Going to put this car on the side for now. I want a 94 cobra to play around with

today i risked heat stroke multiple times in order to get the irs cradle installed. did it with one floor jack and a pry bar or two. was a tremendous pita, hence several rounds of going out to work on it. high temp today was 87, but the humidity was so high that the heat index was 107.

new dream possession is an air conditioned shop with a lift. doing this kind of stuff without shelter in the driveway is really masochistic. evidently i've become too old for this sh1t.

Let my dad drive mine to town as I rode in passenger seat. He's always liked my car but never crazy for it, too old for him. Well short to say he loved it today. We did some pulls up to 100 and he had some fun throwing it around some turns. Didn't bash on it just drove it the way it's set up for. Now he wants a 2v to beat on.

No emissions here in new york for a 94. Just safety. Im going to keep the cobra as is or sell it. The 94 cobra will get a 438 dart block, twin turbo, auto, etc. Getting tired of the 4.6 motors.

Ok. Aren't you an original owner? I think you would regret selling it.

Pulled it out of the trailer and gave it a general check over because it seldom gets driven and noticed a problem with the right side sequential outer bulb acting erratic, it would work, then not work, then come on at half brightness. Finally determined that it was a problem with the R/S module. I thought this was gonna be a problem because I wasn't sure if the company I got these from was still in business since I purchased them in early (Jan.) of 03, but they were, and they had a lifetime warranty so that was taken care of.

Then I purchased some much brighter LED headlights from VLEDS last week for 50% off and also figured out a way to clean the inside of the lamp assembly which was fogged up from vapors without breaking the seal or taking them apart. I previously had some Superbright LEDS which were better than the stockers but there wasn't much difference between Hi/Lo illumination, there is now.

The Hood Vent mod. Took about 2 hours of tedious work, but worth it. Sprayed it with a satin black. I love the difference, subtle but still pops nice...Until I can get my hands on a set of TF hood vents. ;)

Yup original owner. From driving snakebite, the black cobra that mustang magic built doing the fly by, to watching jim belle and dustin whipple argue, to the apten port and what pulleys are best, Iv watched these cars evolve since 03 and been involved. Lots and lots of memories were built. Its more than just a car for me at this point. its beyond that. It would be very very hard to sell. I may just park it on the side and build something wicked. Not worry about passing emissions, and do what I want. Big build. grudge car.

Tomorrow I will be doing a fine polish on the paint. Its garage kept, only 15,000 miles so its in almost amazing shape. Just want to get rid of the little fine swirls. Then put the cover on and wax the car next weekend. Im too beat up to do everything on one day anymore. Just too much for me

got more work done on getting the car back on the road. was close to being done when i suffered a major setback...damn parking brake spring popped off while i was putting the parking brake cable back in the caliper.

i've gotta fix that, bolt in the abs sensors, reroute the rear brake lines (oops), and install the shocks & exhaust.

next project is rear wheel bearings. then cross axis joints. then gotta finish getting my spare t56 rebuilt, then swap it.

previous owner(s) neglected this car, but i'm bringing it back bit by bit.

aaaand done.

damn catback was a bigger PITA to install than it should have been. actually needed a hand putting it back in...did the rest of it on my own.

may end up with a leaking rear banjo connection on the caliper. gonna grab some new washers if that's the case.

tomorrow the new intercooler pump goes in.
