I thought about it. Lol. My wife keeps my cheapness in check. And I thought that in 20 to 30 years the double wide would be worth about $5 and our brick home will appreciate in value.

Hoped in my wife's new XSport, had dinner at a crawfish joint, and went to see Alien Covenant. The wife enjoyed the movie as much as I did. Everyday is a good day that I get to spend time with her. And now I'm kicking back some beer.

Had a nice chat with my dad yesterday. They are struggling to sell their house and I know he enjoys some conversation that takes his mind off of that. Job, life, his grandkids, etc. He's got some health things and soon won't work anymore and that doesn't make him feel better either. Taking an hour to talk and laugh a bit feels nice and I'm grateful to have him around still.
