The pistons are different, but the heads are the same # - BR3Z-6049-E.Looked into the F150 engine but the heads and pistons show different part numbers. Thought maybe the engines would be the same except for the cams but no luck
Hey did u ever find out what u half to do to use a 15 short block on 14 heads ?I think this would be a good thread to answer question on what is needed to do this. I was told the oil filter angle is different. I think a lot of people are going to be looking into this since the Aluminators are based on the '15.
Can you buy a '15 motor and change the cams to work? Can you bolt all of your current parts onto a '15 shortblock?
I know some have played with this so any info will help so others will know

You 1/2 to use the 11-14 cams and timing equipment.
What about the oil galley that needed to be plugged up. Or does the oil filter adapter cover that? I'm also be going to by an aluminator sc shortblock for my 2014 GT
