I've always been a fan of Whiteline and you rarely hear complaints from them.

Oh yeah totally, I love Whiteline. Hotchkis gave me a deal on the set that I couldn't really pass up. I've actually been selling Whiteline parts for almost 2 years now so I'm aware of how good their products are ;)

I gotta ask, Why are you selling the air lift?

I'm taking off the air suspension because I'm going to stop registering the car and prep this into a full race vehicle. I've got a new supplier for suspension but I wont be able to jump to that until I have the ability to take these off to the next buyer. There's nothing wrong with them, they're absolutely fantastic, but since this car wont really see the street anymore and I have no need to raise/lower over bumps or to get into driveways, It's just better to get rid of it for cheap and move on. I'd keep it if I was going to continue to use it for the street, but I'm going for a coilover set up that's really not street friendly.

I considered the Shelby Widebody but the APR kit that I have on now was considerably less expensive and required less time and less work. If I wanted to get the Shelby kit I think you have to be prepared to spend $20k on just the body/paint plus the kit which I know isn't cheap either, it's like another $6,000 or so I believe.

how quick does a kit like this adjust up and down?

In seconds. If it's fully inflated at max height, I can drop it to it's lowest level in about 5-8 seconds or so. Haven't actually timed it but the video below should help out in seeing how it installs and how it works. Raising it up is actually quicker. I can go from fully lowered to max height in about half that time which is great just in case you're trying to get into a steep driveway and you don't want to wait forever to get to the height you need.

I think this thread needs to be moved to the market...

My 32,000+ view near 200 post thread needs to be put into the market? Don't think so, but thanks, just trying to get this Airrex system out to someone on the forums who wants a good set up. To entertain your comment though, I wont bump this thread until I have an actual update with the car, which would come, but I need to sell these first.

Love your thread, not trying to cause drama. But if you're selling stuff then I was saying there is a place for it, you might even have better luck selling it...

And here's the reason for selling the Airrex. I've decided to go in another direction with the car and transforming it into more track than street. The #1 thing to consider when doing that is to start with a solid base, and the solid base here is Eibach's Multi-Pro-R2 Coilover with customized spring rates. Inside the box is a pristine and gorgeous coilover set up with external reservoirs to keep temperatures low so that I don't have to worry about a shock that could overheat on the track. I've decided to swap out spring rates from what the kit normally comes with to a 700lbs/in front and 300lbs/in rear which as you can tell is pretty extreme, but then again that's what I've always wanted to do with this car, bring it more into the extreme. Here's what it looks like to get inside that box:

Second set of customized springs and camber plates, which are gorgeous, I got more pictures below:

Inside the big box are individualized boxes with different components:

Inside one of those boxes I have a pair of the rear shocks along with the external reservoirs:

Inside another individual box, one of the front coilovers. Decided to take it side by side along with the pre-installed spring, vs the one I'm planning on installing:

You can see clearly the difference in how beefy the 700lbs/in spring is compared to what's normally installed. Eibach was telling me that the springs that are currently installed on the coilover are meant to cater towards the track day warrior that still daily drives their car. I don't daily mine so I didn't need anything that leaned more towards driver comfort, I wanted to go all out:

The quality/detail of this coilover is pretty outstanding. I've had KW's before, and KW's quality funny enough doesn't come close to these (I say funny enough because I've always held KW in very high regard having V3's as you notice in this thread, and V2's on a previous project):

Top hats that come standard with the kit, pre-installed:

The design of these camber plates really caught my eye. I love the detail in the Eibach logo on the camber plate, and the ease of use looks substantially easier to use than the previous camber plates I've had in the past. Big congrats to Eibach on these, they are absolutely gorgeous and phenomenal looking:

More updates will come later, I plan on getting these installed on 12/4 and I'll make sure to update this thread with more info and my thoughts when that comes :)

I doubt those dampers will handle 700lb spring rates.

It's been tested before on these shocks and hasn't been a problem at all for racing applications. Why would you assume that given the spring rate these shocks wouldn't be able to handle it? If it was a low end quality shock, sure I can see how it wouldn't be appropriate but not on these my friend.

Honestly never heard of anyone with a Mustang running a 700lb spring with them. Good luck, let us know how it works on track.
