Pretty funny listening to all you guys knock Wills car like yours is any better. Who cares what he did with his car? Isn't his decision. To do what he wants with it? It may not look like yours or most of the other Cobras out there but I can say with confidence that his car would outperform all of your cars on the track. Not only that but Will would easily outdrive any of you guys too.

If you look at the parts he designed and built by himself you'd realize the talent he's got. While most of you buy parts for your cars he engineers them, builds them and installs them himself.

How many of you can say that about your cars?

Its also our decision to make fun of how ugly that thing is. Sure its a track car and does great drifting. We all think its ugly as all dog shit. From the outside looks like a hack job. But to each his own.

This. Purist city in here lol. Don't get me wrong the car isn't pretty, but if its built to function and drive the wheels off it, then all the power to him

Agreed^

I beat the shit out of my car and take care of it like i do and its still nice..

yet i know some anal people that dont even drive their cars to keep the miles down.. or another guy who watches his temp gauges and anytime it gets to 195+ degree's he cranks the heater full blast. Im talking 100 degree Socal heat and dudes rolling with the windows down and heater on (ac off of course).. matches some of the logic in this thread..

Personal I think the fenders are sick.. im not a huge fan of how they integrate into the cobra R bumper but I get it.. and function over form :)

I think the main problem everyone sees is the horrible fit and finish of the body kit and the fact that the car is filthy. Not sure how much better he can get the fitment with an aftermarket body kit.

And before anyone says its a DD or track car etc and that's why it's filthy, no excuse. My car is a dd and its spotless.

Driving on a public road with no 3rd brake light is no bueno.

tisk tisk

But BRO, it is HIS car!!! LOL. When people have to start saying that it's because the owner has no taste. I'm sure Will could have a functional car that also doesn't look like a riced out piece of shit. But he likes it this way I guess.

No but your sure doing plenty of defending it

I didn't know that sharing my opinion like you did wasn't allowed.

Will is not only a customer of mine he's a friend. He's showed myself and my business a lot of support over the years. He took me for a ride in this car on the road course at PBIR and it was one of the best experiences I ever had in a cobra.

I also know how much he's put into this car and that it's his passion. He's a super nice guy and a very talented fabricator. So I'll defend my friend as you would yours.

Have a great weekend guys.

Never once was your right to voice your opinion in question. The debate was over function and form.

Obviously, a lot of people on this forum have grown up without a parental role model... If you don't have anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut!

To each his own. Not for me but I respect the fact that he built for his purpose and not to please others. He doesn't appear to have self esteem issues like others.

He has wider fenders on the front not just to fit wider wheels but also to run a 1 1/2 wheel spacers for his steering mod, for drifting.
I dont think he built the fenders himself, but the missing third light is because of his radiator that is in the trunk.

For all the haters

Exactly where I'm coming from too. If he can drive, cool. If the car is fast, cool. That doesn't change the fact that it looks like something that was put together right after watching Tokyo drift.

I actually like the fender design but fitment needs to be adjusted obviously. I'm sure it's probably because the car has taken a beating at the track if he uses it that much.

While I appreciate the fact the car gets used... Still doesn't excuse all of what's going on there. Just because Will CAN design/build his own full race parts, doesn't mean Will SHOULD.

You either like it or don't. No need to post a million times that it's a track car and the dude fabricates and installs all of his own parts. Lord!

Typical par for the course at SVT. The man builds his car for function for LEGAL drift comps, and the wanna be's chime in with cars they either do not drive, cannot drive or try to drive at ILLEGAL street racing. Then want to jump in quick on how someone else bought and paid for car looks. It could very well be he has several cars to just LOOK NICE. Rel racers already understand function over looks. How a car looks to someone is nothing more than that person opinion. PERIOD.
