Holy shift rails batman!

I can't tell, is the counter shaft all 1 piece?

I had a blast learning about my TR6060 so much that I want to buy an MT82 for cheap and tear it down just to learn about them. lol

I saw this thread grabbed a coffee and read and admired the pics. Very nice best single kit I've seen so far and a nice build for sure. I was hooked once I saw the craftsmanship and the welds. I'm sure you'll address this but I would throw something on either the exhaust or Intercooler pipe being so close together by the intake mani. This is the type of kit I would buy for sure. What boost do you plan to run it at? With the turbo size you are running what boost is in it's efficiency range?

Yeah she's a stock engine. Our other test mule w a stock engine just went 9.88 also. He was at 9psi. By looking at how man lbs/min the engine is flowing the engine should live a while at that power level.

Shannon drives this black one everyday. When he picked it up he took it from San Diego to Washington, then drove to Tennessee without incident. I think the trip was a tick over 3800 miles. Cuz streetcar lol

When we took the tranny apart everything looked pretty good. Replaced a few gears to be on the safe side. The input was clearly the cause of most of the whining. You could see the gear patter where the metal was literally pushed up towards the center of the input. Actually a sharp little line at the edge of the gear pattern. Welded the forks and cryo treated a few things, then slapped her back together.

Ya it's going to be a stretch. I'm hoping to have it ordered this week and start install in a couple weeks if everything goes according to plan. I just have to figure out which route I want to go..

Nah they're not shitty. An auto is just faster until you get to the 5,000hp+ levels lol
A stick doesn't multiple torque like a converter does. More consistent, and faster shifting 99% of the time. They'll just more fun to me personally.

Ceteris paribus, an auto car will be faster than a stick car but to me, the fun factor and satisfaction in rowing gears outweighs the couple extra losses I will take vs a comparably setup auto.

Everyone is different and to each their own.

Just my $.02
