Ah cool. So he is serious with this set up. haha

I figured it might have a 1:1 4th gear trans with that 4.56 gear. Keep up posted on what it runs. It makes very good power and I am sure it will run a number too.

Awesome results!

But I for one would not rev a stock Coyote near 8000 RPM without billet oil pump gears, ignition trigger from FRPP, Boss 302 Alternator kit, and ATI Crank damper. With those mods done and Boss cylinder heads and rotating assembly 8450 RPM ALL DAY!!!!!! ...and I believe it would make another 30-50 HP at the wheels:beer:

the billet oil pump gears are always recommended, but from what i understand, the stock gears can break apart under high rpm. billet gears do not break. unless you can get them for free from your ford guy, they are overpriced. get a set from MMR for a lot less.

FRPP #: M-6600-50CJ ($563.20 from fordracingparts123.com)

MMR #: 400224 ($319.99)

He is right on with his comments and yes I do have them, I also have another peace of mind which everybody has different opinions on; MMR Cooling mod...30,000mi on my Boss and yes it's my daily driver.

Regards,

Manuel

I've always liked your set-up and its nice to know it is holding up well as a DD since I plan on getting the same mdos on my DD Boss :beer:

Guys,

Please do not waste your money on E85 tune unless you are going FI...we tried it on my Boss and saw NO difference...on the DYNO at Power by the Hour, emptied the tank put some E85, Ken/Lund did their magic and NO increase in HP or Torque.

Regards,

Manuel

Were you running 93 octane before? Some of us can't get our hands on good gas so running e85 and the extra timing is definitely beneficial.

I catch a lot of shit from my coworkers since I work in the oil industry and am switching my car to corn :D

Boss 302 alternator kit is news to me? Not calling you wrong, but can you elaborate on why thats needed, thanks.

Holy shit that is moving!

How much do you think the 4.56's and TKO would have adjusted those dyno numbers?

If I had to guess it would be because the Boss' alternator was designed to spin at higher RPM's then the Coyote' alternator was looking at the description from Ford Racing and maybe because of the 1 way clutch . Either way I am interested in hearing the answer as well.

This kit includes special high performance components as used on the production 2012-2013 Mustang BOSS 302 and is designed to operate at higher RPMs

This kit fits Mustang GT 5.0L 4V Ti-VCT engine and features:

High-performance BOSS Alternator with 1-way clutch to prevent belt hop-off during upshifts
Higher tension belt tensioner
Larger pulley to slow the armature speed, reduce drag and reduce parasitic hp loss
Also fits M-6007-M50, M-6007-A50NA, M-6007-A50XS and M-6007-A50SC Ford Racing crate engines
Kit includes OEM Mustang BOSS 302 alternator, tensioner, idler pulley, belt and mounting hardware

Sorry to hear that but every car we've ever E85 Swapped with bolt on's has picked up. Some 10rwhp some 15rwhp with matching torque numbers.

not only was that a benefit but you can also hot lap the car and its more consistent .

You may not have picked up anything on e85 since you need bigger injectors to run e85 due to 30% more flow and you were probably almost maxing out your stock injectors as it was before e85...just theorizing here.
