I came out "very" soft with the TVS and shifted like my grandma!! I didn't want to BREAK the stock 10-spline t56 or IRS!!! ...at MIR, 10.89 at 133 mph I was giving it my best-shifting hard!

How did that affect the 60' times? What were each? Love your numbers btw. You clearly spend some time at the track

A. Lets start out by saying two complete different setups!!!! I'll be all over 140+ mph...I came out "very" soft with the TVS and shifted like my grandma!! I didn't want to BREAK the stock 10-spline t56 or IRS!!! ...at MIR, 10.89 at 133 mph I was giving it my best-shifting hard!

B. With the TVS set-up I was carrying 150 lbs MORE weight!!!!! ... MIR weight = 3700 lbs (removed CB, Passenger seat, Passenger swingout) ... LVD = 3850 lbs.with 3/4 tank of fuel

C. MIR = Approx. Sea level ... LVD (Upstate NY) 660 feet

D. Senkak is not carrying 3,850 lbs!!!!!!!! .... and for the most part, he's closer to 140 mph!

Now, with the SRA going in this winter, I hope to free up a few pounds and be on equal ground!! ... or closer anyways!

A. What He said :lol::poke:

I have a 3.2/4lb making 19 psi on pump. Only reason I went so low with boost was for safety. At that psi, I'm cranking out 612rwhp on a SAFE tune. With my e85 tune, boost will be upped to 21-22. This blower is capable of much more than most put it through.

Ricks (Senkak) car did not trap 140+ mph.... Im sure he will HATE me for saying that but there was a "known" timing error at the big end and everyone was trapping wayyyy more MPH then they really were. I've seen his car go 137-138 before.

Really? He posted a vid once trapping 136 and I asked him then why was it trapping "low" from the 140+ like in his sig....I thought he said the weather was too hot. No mention of the sig trap being an "anomaly"

Damn, you're going auto?! I know that's definitely going to net the fastest et's.....but seems like it would be boring for street use. Are you yanking the ac and interior too?

HELL no..... Magnum t56

AC / K-member / Interior staying stock for the most part...minus the Corbeau seats! :)

Please do elaborate. I thought the Magnum just had stronger internals. Sounds like external casing is different too?

Malcolm, The Viper spec T56 is the only "drop in" with no modification necessary. The case is slightly different on the Magnum. The tailshaft is longer and the shifter location is different. You'll also need to shorten the driveshaft and clearance the HELL out of the clutch fork.

I honestly didnt think I would feel a difference between the Magnum and a standard T56 but its a NIGHT and DAY difference in drivability. The Magnum is a reallllyyyy nice transmission!! And for what Jeff paid for it (FREE), its like a sore d*ck... You just can't beat it! lol

How much different is the shifter location? enough to require mods to the interior to get it to fit? Glad to hear it drives nicer. Not a fan of how "rugged" and unrefined feeling the stock T56 is. My only hold off on the Magnum as been the $3k price tag.
Does the viper spec T56 drive any different? or do you have to get the Magnum to get the improved driveability?

I didn't have any problems putting the t-56 mag in my car

Humm no drive shaft or shifter mods? clutch fork? You sure you didn't have the viper spec? Just reading up above a couple posts it looks like the Magnum has quite a few differences.

From what I've seen 20-21 is about the limit on the smaller throttle body setup. Not sure on the gt500 stuff tho
