Well I finally got the mt82 out of the car, due to waiting on supporting parts for the new trans, the bell housing was on back order finally got it a couple of weeks ago, but just found the time to take it out.

To whoever might know I got a question. What bolts do I use to connect my converter to the flex plate? The converter and the flex plate don't have any threads so I'm kinda lost on what I need to do to make it work.

^^^ Correct. It can wipe your pump and thrust in the engine in short order. 400's are know for being thrust killers so make sure your trans cooler line pressure is in check. You'd have to look, I don't remember what is acceptable for a mod engine.

My friend (cameronvic) just explained it to me about the play. He also told me that the converter feed is restricted so it's wont put too much pressure on the thrust bearing.

No project is put on a little hold since I'm going down to Houston,TX for the 4th July. But when I get back I'm going to try to get up and runnin!! Lol

I'm curious about how u cut off the old bell housing. Do u just chop it off or what is the process?
Also, cudos to u for being different and stepping outside the box. I understand completely.
