I used to have 4-5 different auto magazine subscriptions, but over the years as advertising became the bulk of most of them, I'm down to one, Motor Trend.

anyone subscribed to MT, C&D, R&T, etc. need to drop them, you're wasting your money on manufacturer PR pieces...
Taking Readers for a Ride *|*American Journalism Review
i used to be a regular subscriber to MT until i picked up on how all of their multi-car comparisons were complete hypocritical bullshit(everyone generally wins at some point in the year), along with their "...of the year" awards.

i generally read
hotrod(they redesigned the mag a few months back, and it is AWESOME)
MM&FF
peteresens 4 wheel & off road
four wheeler
off-road
diesel power
motorcyclist
on occasion i'll pick up car craft, street rodder, cycle world, or pop mech if they have a few articles that catch my eye.

None, this is the digital age. I read the majority of my automotive news here on SVTP.

I used to subscribe to MM&FF, but it's turned into 90% advertising and 10% content. All of the magazines have gotten progressively thinner over the years.

F1 Magazine

One of the best written magazines I've had the pleasure of reading.

I ditched Car and Driver, Motor Trend, and Road & Track fifteen to twenty years ago when they all seemed preoccupied with red Italian sports cars. Ferraris are cool and bad ass and all that but every ****ing month? AutoWeek and SVTP are all I need. Coverage is far superior to the three combined.

I currently receive MM&FF, 5.0. American Rifleman, HotRod, Car Craft, Cycle,
Car&Driver, and Motor Trend
I agree with some of the comments about CD & MT being shills for the Manufacturers. but you gotta take them at face value, knowing that they're shills, and just use them to keep up on new developments in the industry
