I would imagine that the synthetic "glass" media in the RP and Amsoil filters does not absorb oil as much as a traditional cellulose filter media.
but the previous version of the Amsoil EaO11 (also micro glass media) didn't have as much capacity.

I would like to see somebody run the oil life monitor all the way out and then do a UOA on various oils for the 5.0. It would be interesting to see the results.
That would be a cool test. Apparently the calculations the computer uses to determine the oil life takes quite a few factors into consideration.
