An eaton swap is a lot less expensive than your built motor, cams and ported heads. It's common knowledge going the N/A route is much more expensive and gives you fewer gains.

You have no clue how much it cost me. It is not as much as you think and It will be faster then any eaton swapped mach so sry try again ;-)

I know all of that didn't cost you less than 2k which is what my Eaton swap cost me. You'd be lucky to get 400whp out of your car without a ported intake, Eaton swaps run in the 450-500whp range with machs. If you put a blower on your Mach it would be faster plain and simple. There's a reason why the majority of people go the Blown route vs N/A. Good try though :thumbsup:

Again you do not know what you are talking about. My car WOULD NOT be faster if I would have put a eaton on top instead of going this route. Would it cost less yes but would it be faster NO. Also 500 is pushing it on a stock mach most want push it that far. So fail on your part :poke:


Ps: Also remember your limited I could throw a 500 dollar nitrous kit on the car ;)

Your heads and cams probably cost more than my blower swap so the built lower end argument is out the window. What's to stop someone from using spray on a blower as well? :thumbsup:

Again some do push close too 500 but most Don't stoopid. To answer your question yes but at that time cost would be about the same If not more for your part depending on the route you go. So here we are back to the same price with one getting it done on motor ;-)

Pretty sure your car is sacrificing tons of driveability, and will likely cost thousands if done right. Not to mention tuning costs, supporting mods, etc.

I've seen people do blower and Turbo swaps for <2,000 for everything, including tuning.

Your N/A motor will only go so far, before you reach it's max potential and have to rebuild it, bore it out, add nitrous, etc.

Vortech S/C, non intercooled,8 PSI, JBA Shorty Headers, Stock mid-pipe, Magnaflow Cat-back, 4.10 gears, UMI LCA's, MAFia, STB, made 444 RWHP with an old intake and in temps of 105 Degrees.

Nothing special really. Just my DD that can beat 200HP 2500lb Honda Civics...
