In miami for vaca with the new kawasaki zx14 i just picked up...... and completely minding my own business when a young c6z06 owner 25-30ish comes up to me at the pumps...after exchanging some nice compliments he goes off and says that he knows his car could smoke my bike........

i started laughing and asked if he had any clue what the bike was.....he said yea its a ninja.....lol I figured this was going to be a nice point an time to educate an ls7 owner....lol

so i asked if he had any mods what so ever....he wouldn't say anything, but smile.....when he drove the car up it had a nasty lope on the idle which is what made me ask.......

he asked for some 80mph pulls which is wonderful because its the bikes sweet spot for 2nd.......I ran 3 times and absolutely destroyed him....i let out at 150 each time......not really a big surprise either way but it was still fun since i never got to race one in the car....

during the race i used the clutch and didnt foot shift either being i didnt think the race was going to be even close....so it could have been alot worse...

either way fun race ....id like to know what the mods were but not really surprised of the outcome......

You have to be a real douche to think you can even hang with a bike with any kind of displacement. Guess that's your typical corvette owner. Bad thing is he'll probably pull the same crap again tomorrow with the same outcome. You did the right thing wasting your time and putting him down.

Now that is a bit of an overstatement. But bikes are fast for sure. I have run several. Win some lose some. The bike driver makes a lot of difference. Its all fun though.

Nice race OP

Easy to call it an overstatement when your sitting on FREAKIN' 712HP!!! If I had your car I'd be out looking for bikes to play with. Hard to find a street legal car that can even begin to hang with you I bet.

LS7slayer,

Looks like you needed to upgrade to uphold to your signature, lol, jk. Nice kill!
To the other negative commenters, believe it or not there are some cool Vette owners and quite a few z's running around that have whooped up on liter bikes, busas, zx14s etc. Most "typical" vette owners are more middle aged and are not into the street racing scene. So when they ignore kids jumping with there car, egging them on, they are considered snotty etc.

Some never know the power of a bike that's not into them. I had a guy with a vette tell me that he could be me from a roll on my busa. I laughed so hard that I started crying. Really pissed him off. His girl was there and thought I was crazy. I had tears pouring out my eyes when he said he beat a gixxxer the other day.

Needless to say we left the Wal Mart and here he comes following us on the highway getting beside me revving the motor. I shook my head and told him to just go. From a 50mph roll he hit and I followed. Snapped the clutch to wheelie up beside him. From 60 to about 90 I was beside him on one wheel looking over at him. Short shift to 4th to bring it down and just walked away. Slowed back down and he pulled up beside me and his girl was giving me the thumbs up. I think she wanted a ride and to be rode lol.

When I got my vette I will not lie, I thought I was the fastest thing on the highway. What really does it, you find a guy that can't ride and make him look crazy. I have beaten a few bikes from lights with novice riders. I had a guy with a 07 Shelby destroy my poor brother on my bike. He runs 11.60s to 12.10s on the bike. He needs a lot of help because for some reason he is scared of it. Something about loving all his skin. The same bike I run 9.15 to 9.30s depending on my 60ft. Stock wheelbase I have pulled a few 1.43s with it. His best is an amazing 2.38.

Catch him out there with a vette or stang and there you have it. You just beat a bike. Catch a real rider out there and now your story just doesn't seem so real lol. But I will admit it's fun to do. Good kill, you should have waved at him while you were pulling away just to add a little more insult to it.
