I just got back from Trinidad and Im covered in probably 20-25 mosquito bites. :fm:

Anything living under the skin is nasty but an eye lid is not where I would want that to happen.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't southern California relatively mosquito free? I used to live in Long Beach and that was one thing I noticed right away since we have lots of mosquitoes here in CT. I don't remember ever seeing any during that 2 year period.

There might be regions that are relatively free of them but if they are around there's no real way of hiding from them unless you stop breathing of course.
