There are some crazy stories about Connery back in the day. He beat up 4 guys in a bar once while Michael Cain held his coat and watched. He also snatched a gun from a famous mob guy and chased him off set because the guy was upset about them both dating the same actress. He's an actual badass to say the least.
Aside from most of the actors mentioned, I've always liked Eric Bana and Karl Urban. They're both sort of sleeper actors that usually do good at whatever rolls they are in. Bana is a big car guy too which I should also include Paul Walker. Saw him in Whistler one time and he seemed like a cool guy which is what he was known for.
