I'm self employed, I make my own bonuses. The past few years have been slim.

That was quite a Christmas gift from your employer. I can't remember ever getting a Christmas gift or Christmas bonus. My previous employer used to give turkeys for Thanksgiving. Christmas? Nothing. I would expect that end of year bonuses are the most common December benefit.

We got a 2 weeks salary bonus + our choice of a $300 Ruth's Chris gift card or $300 Best Buy gift card. I went with the Best Buy so I can add to my Sonos collection.
