Winter Build pictures Turbo 03

[My Cobra]

Wanted to post this in here as well as the turbo section. This is my winter build. Here is what i am doing:

Hellion single turbo system
Lethal return fuel system with 80# injectors
26 Spline input shaft, new clutch flywheel bolts and all that
Full length sub frame connectors. (Maybe a 4 point cage and rear seat delete)
MGW shifter with bobs gasket
TPS Stage two brake kit with stainless lines, slotted rotors, fluid.

Going to powdercoat my calipers, upper and lower intake, valve covers, front timing cover, gas tank straps (Going to have the gas tank cover painted gloss black),

700+ not sure what it will put down. It is a street car so as long as it is fun to drive i am good with it.

No e85 around here. Not sure if i should build the fuel system for it anyway.

Had a few questions:

Should i take the dust shields off from behind the rotors?

Will it look weird if i powdercoat the valve covers wrinkle blue and the rest wrinkle black? Should i just do it all wrinkle black? What color blue do most people use?

Is it bad to powdercoat the borla stinger catback pipes chrome instead of sanding and polishing them?

Anything else i should do while i am going this far? Head cooling mod ?

Which battery kit should i use to move it to the trunk? which battery box?

Looks like a fun time. I have a stock oil pan I would sell already punched and tapped for the drain back.

cool i will prob just punch the one i have. Did you get a bigger pan?

How big is that? Looks like it sits real low. Looks good.

7qt holds 9 sits no lower the Hellion downpipe that goes under the k member.

Nice winter project OP. I think the blue with black will look great, especially wth the color of your car. All black is too much black in my opinion.

Congrats and good luck. I'm at phase 1 swapping in the Terminator motor. Phase 2 will be the hellion turbo. Any idea what size injectors the Complete Kit comes with? It doesn't say on Hellion's website.

I got the kit that does not come with all that. I already had a SCT and fuel system Ialso wanted to get it dyno tuned. Not sure what the other kit will come with. Good luck on your swap. Sounds like a lot of work.

good lord that car is filthy. lots of cleaning work to do my friend. good luck and don't cut any corners- it will only bite you in the ass later.
