Wine country long weekend trip with wife. (Car content inside)

The 24th was my wife's birthday and she wanted to go to Napa. It's really not my thing, but how can I not go.
Anyway Fly out Friday and meet up with a couple of friends.

Ate at the famous restaurant from Top Gun. Miramar beach restaurant

The women went for pedicures. My buddy and I drove around a bit in his GTR.

I need one now...

Stopped by an upscale used car dealership.

Went to iFly in San Fran. My buddy hasn't jumped in years, but I'm still current.

Saturday we head off to Wine country in Yountville.

Stayed at the hotel bardessono
They have several Lexus cars and SUVs that you can just take if you are staying there.

We grabbed the GS450H and took it out for some fun.

It's even fun trying to keep it in Electric mode. Too slow though.

The hotel was very nice.

We got all dressed up for Morimoto's on Saturday night.

I do not recommend Morimotos restaurant.
Very loud. Very expensive. Not very good food.

Sunday we went to Vine Cliff for a private wine tasting.

They have their own Cave dug into the hill for storing their wine.

We got back to the hotel and were chillin at the pool when this pulled up.

Parked it next to the GTR.

Overall pretty good trip. Tried to add as much car stuff in as possible to make it more fun. Success.

I don't recall them saying if they provide grapes for other Vineyards. If I had to guess, I would say it was single label. They have a wine club you can join and they ship the wine to you.

My most recent cool trip was to Wal-Mart the itger day and dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.

The M5 was a guest at the hotel. They parked all the "cool" cars up front.

The girl loves Morimoto's, we didnt even have a reservation, we came at 9pm and luckily got seated. Whew!

Doing wine tastings there are definitely more women in the area.

Should have went over to Sonoma Raceway to see what cars were running!

I went to Morimoto's on the soul purpose of eating the Sushi. My wife read that they fly it in from Japan.
I love some good sushi and have eaten some of the best sushi in Hawaii and was holding Morimoto's to the test.
Not sure if they were having an off night or not, but what they served me was no where close to the best I ever had.
And very expensive at that. Oh well.

We did drive right by Sonoma Raceway and talked of stopping, but the times we went by, we didn't have the time to stop, because we knew we would be there a while.

A full one, we would have had to roll it out. I did question if they sold the ones they were finished using though. He said sometimes they give them away when they are done with them.
