Aeromotive 11142 - Evo Empire Forum - Page 2 Post 28 This was before they were released. So I was wrong, they changed their warranty. Here is the update from the vendor on the evo site. "When I spoke with Aeromotive Tech Reps on the phone before the pump was released, that's what the guy told me, however, it seems now that they have been released and have seen them run on E85, they released new info. Look at the following link at read the part at the bottom of the first page about compatible fuels. It says it's compatible with E85, but filter maintenance and pump life may be reduced. In this case, knowing that you run an alcohol based fuel like E85 with that pump, they probably wouldn't warranty it." So if you want to run E85 with pumps from a company that isn't even sure or not it works with e85 go ahead.:rollseyes People aren't using GT pumps in their builds because, 1. walbros are cheaper and 2. Your tuner couldn't be lazy and just rely on the pumps running full power, because If you did use GT pumps in a return system you would still be able to utilize the computer to alter voltage, It would be a hybrid system of sorts, there would be no reason to run the pumps full time. But if the pumps were ran full power, I see no reason as why they would fail. I'm sure ford did a good job designing them to work a long life. I've never seen a GT pump fail.
