Who's looking for trouble? I'm looking at a 325/30/19 Nitto Invo which is a "narrow" 325 tire...Compared to some other brands it's as wide as their 295 or 305...If you're running a 315/35/20 it's a lot taller and that's why it would be much tighter fit...

It will rub in the wheel well or wont be flush with your fenders imo. I know Invos are not as wide as others, my PSS are a few mm larger than the Invos in 315/35/20.

Look at all the svt members signature, very few run 325 in the back.

Try it and prove me wrong but i think you'll regret it.

I'm running Michelin PS2's 305/35/20 ($456/ea.) on a 20x11. Tire sits 28.4" tall now, switching to 335/30/20 ($568/ea.) which are 28" tall. No rubbing under street conditions, only during extreme loads under turning with added vertical and horizontal G forces added.

I don't think my car "looks like a truck" as someone stated.

Off topic...BUT...Are those Corsas from a SRT-8? I had Corsas on my SRT-8 and they look VERYY similar if not the same and I'm wondering how you made them work on the Stang...?? Very cool if those are from the SRT.

I'm running 325s out back. My rear is lowered 2" and it WILL rub inner and outside under certain conditions. It rubs the inner wheel well lightly if you take on a very steep driveways at an angled approach. It rubs mid sidewall on large bumps if the jounce is equal across both tires(really bad train tracks at speed). If its only one side the tire tucks into the wheel well no problem.

I'm also running a watts link

I wouldn't go 325 unless you have a watts link. I run 305/30/19 invos. If I don't sell the car before I need new tires I'm going to go with a 315/35/19 NT05r or something similar. The 305 fits fine but doesn't have enough sidewall for my liking. I honestly wish I would have went with 18s or 20s. Tire selection for 19s sucks.

To answer for digital about the corsas. I believe they were off his old s197.

I think 305 on 20's is the widest you can go without having it stick out.
When it sticks out it just looks retarded. Reminds me those mexican hondas with small ass wheels that stick out 5" from the body. :xpl:

The selection does suck and the tires are WAY more expensive than they are for 18's and 20's for some reason.:rollseyes

I run 20x11 ET55 on the rear with Falken 453's at 315/35/20 so they're about 5% taller than the factory tires. I rub on the outside fender, and on the inside fender liner as well, so it's really the absolute max if you're not very low. Unfortunately I'm very low, so I just have to deal with the rubbing. 305/35 or 305/30 would be the max you can run in all honesty, without rubbing issues, at least if you're lowered as much as I am.

Not to thread jack, but I figured i would ask here instead of making a thread for a simple question:
What's the widest tire that fits the brembo 19x9 wheels? and whatever tire size that is (275s? 295s?) they should fit without rubbing or anything right? judging by the sizes being mentioned here, it seems so lol

295 will work on a 9" rim...Just will bulge a bit and not great contact patch...Might as well run the 275 to spread the whole tread on the ground...IMO

They aren't for racing or any sporty driving really... just for daily driving... so i figured i would go with the widest i can on those brembo wheels and make them look good...
I have another set of "Bigs and Littles" for the weekend shenanigans.

What would work the best on those 19x9? 295/40 ? 295/45?

I'd love to do a 335/30/18 or maybe 325 if all else fails. I don't plan on lowering this car or any autocross, just daily driving with an occasional trip to the drag strip.
