the heat was really showing in my car yesterday...the DA was 1700 feet by 11am and it showed in my ET's. I was out by 1pm. still had a good time
Is it just me, or was Sunday a disappointing turnout? I arrived at 11:00. Did I miss all the action? There were about 1/10th of the normal amount of Race Cars, and about 1/10th the amount of spectators???
No problem man. I didn't even realize it was you until I turned around and saw your truck with the Cobra on the trailer leaving the track. I walked right by it during the 'break' for the track crew.
yea it was WAY down today. i think I only saw ONE renegade car form saturday. fast ford had 8......8 cars in the class today. street and quick ford seemed ok.
i left at 1pm. it was just too hot to be walking on the pavement and sitting in a car all bundled up.
Yeah it was very sad looking today... not many people at all.

the turnout was disapointing......there were a bunch of reasons why.
Weather, classes, pay out and the way the show was organized had alot to do with it.
Saturday there was just over 80 cars in the show...sunday was around 50ish.
Good news is UPR comitted to coming back for the next few years..so hopefully we can begin to build back up attendence and get the big racers up to NE.

I think index classes and / or heads up will bring more people. and bigger payouts especially for the renegade guys. their payout was horrible!

I was there Sunday too and didn't see almost any of those cars you posted. I saw the Mach 1 run, your lightning next to James' Cobra and phlobus' lightning, but that Roush and others I dont remember seeing at all:shrug:
