Hello guys im trying to figure out which look the best. I've had my wheels plasti dipped for months and its looks are not attractive to me anymore. Not sure if i should pill it off and go back chrome or keep the black.
BTW: Peeling dip off these wheels aren't easy as you would think. Its still a B to pull the dip.

So which would you rock?? Im posting these here because i need people who never seen my car before and i rarely pictures here. Also, please dont judge by the catback missing lol. I want my slp tips back so much. Dumps sound good, but i like the tips but i sold them. Thanks

BTW, please pick one. I wish i could say neither, but my bank account wont allow new wheels so im stuck with crappy cobra r's.

I'm a fan of black but I vote chrome. For the reason that I hate Matte Black wheels. If they were gloss black, I'd rock them. BTW, back when I had my chrome stockers I plasti dipped them. One wheels peeled off so easy, the other three didn't. Hit them with a power washer and it came right off. The key to having plasti dip come off easily and making sure you apply enough coats from the get go. That's whee I miss up. Also, if you decide to keep the black, get rid of the polished lip.

I might have to try the power washer idea? This is my 2nd time re-doing my wheels with plasti dip and the first it was a PITA to remove it. Your right though because i only used 1 coat but because of the polished lip. Otherwise, you will ruin the lip because you have to remove it when wet.

Im not a fan of the all black look (no polished lip) on a black car, so i think chrome might be for me after-all.

Thanks for your reply.

Anytime brotha. You only used 1 coat? Damn, I used like 5 and it was a bitch to take off. The power washer idea does work, I advise you to take the wheels off the car. Here is a pic for judgement of my chrome wheels plasti dipped.

Oh I almost forgot, I shot some gloss black over the plasti dip.

On a black car its either some sort of antracite or black for me... Based on your specific poll I would say Flat Black. But as one poster noted on your car Gloss Black would look more uniform.

I agree, worst wheels in the world for sure! I salvaged them off my red sn95 which caught on fire.. so im stuck with them till my pockets grow.
