Solid victory for @Coiled 03 in the job perk contest.

Everyone at some point runs into a big A-hole that they would like to put in the ground but few ever get to realize that dream. :)

My female boss with big fake boobs rarely wears a bra and low cut shirts.

My victory was short lived, it seems.

I run a collision repair shop, perks are if I need work done it’s easily accomplished at a lesser cost for me.

Down side is everyone I know seems to think I should extend the same to them.

Anyone new I meet that asks me what I do for work, I tell them I sell supplemental insurance. :D :D :D

I'm a Lexus technician so I always have access to my lifts which has been awesome, especially since I do all the work to my GT500s. Plus I get to do side work.

100% this. My service director offered me use of the shop and my lift on a vacation day to pull my engine when im ready to have it built.

As a dealer technician, if the dealership group is big enough, you can get factory parts from a variety of brands at cost plus 10%. At least within my dealer group, I get an employee labor rate at all group dealerships of $45 per hour.

Only perk I've found is I get to take scraps of left over metal home along with wiring and or other industrial stuff. Making a portable ac/dc racing tree at home with the left overs from last job.

typical silicon valley start up type environment here. it's rather rough some times :)

* fully stocked fridge (energy drinks, iced tea, juice, milk, etc)
* wine fridge, hard alcohol, kegerator
* fully stocked pantry (cereal, beef jerky, energy bars, soup, chips, cheese, nuts, chocolate)
* catered breakfast once per week
* happy hour on fridays with food / drinks
* game room
* unlimited PTO
* most people "work from home" on fridays
* quarterly company events (best one IMO is clay shooting)
* whatever technology you need as long as you can justify it

Some of my perks of the job:

Company paid 100% of my tuition for my bachelor's degree in IE.

Metric fasteners... every style, every length, all the way up to grade 12.9 in the giant "miscellaneous" bin. I love that bin.

Recently I got a $1500 soldering station with rework suction for free that no one wanted. It was about to get trashed. If I ever need to repair electrical shit I'm ready.

Last year my vacation increased to 200 hours per year + 60 hours of PTO a year.

I get to work from home occasionally when I feel like it... and whenever we have inclement weather (I'm in NC, basically if it snows I'm staying home).

I have flex time, and I only work 40 hours per week M-F.

Very little travel required... I hate traveling for work.

I go hunting with my boss sometimes.

Basically I sit on my ass at a computer most but not all day, maybe 75% of the time. I get out to the floor when I need to fix stuff, and I build my tools when the parts arrive from the machine shop. It's just enough "work with my hands" to keep me busy but not enough to tax my body. I really enjoy the balance.

I'm a local government employee....take home car, a ton of vacation, and with the different retirement plans I put away about 30 percent of my salary into retirement.

Mine would have to be the hours. M-F 6:30am - 3pm. These are great hours year round, but even better during the summer months.
Sometimes when the weather is bad in the winter, they let us out half a day and we get paid for the full day.
