Came in the car I just bought. Seems they are really rare. All I know is that these don't work, and i'm not very impressed by them (the amber doesn't do anything for me).

I was thinking I'd sell 'em and just get 96/98 stock replacements....

No appeal imo.

Just maks the rear of the car look too busy imo. Just ads another color.

I like the idea of the tinted ones, but I won't trade them straight up.

People are telling me that these Export ones are like $400-$500!

I still haven't figured out why they are so sought after!
I never liked them either. Doesn't seem to look smooth. Any way my car is red and haveing the all red tail lights makes it all flow together. No need for the distracting yellow.

obviously they are sought after due to the rareness, but they are starting to "not" grow on me....to busy back there,

now if you got a pair and tinted them, that might be cool.

thats what id do to em. as long as you can see the amber when the signals are on, and/or see a slight amber tint to them when the lights are off, thatd be enough. i wouldnt pay $700, or let alone $200 for that, but if someone was willing to trade, id do it.

It depends on the condition of the tail lights. I sold a set I had MINT BRAND SPANKING NEW FROM THE FACTORY/with Silver Bezel (Manufactured in 98') for $800, plus shipping on eBay.

If I had to do it over I think I'd keep them and smoke them. But, the price was right!

i would sell them...800 bucks is a lot better than that little subtle difference they make...i agree they are cool for that little extra touch but IMO 800 bucks goes a long way for horsepower...which is always the coolest mod ever

What would be the point of smoking them? once they were smoked, they would look like any other pair of 96-98 smoked tails.
