From the rear the 67 and 68 are almost identical. They used different gas caps, but on a car that's almost 40 years old, the original could've easily been lost.

64.5 thru 66 rears are almost identical as well.

I was thinking the 67 had a flush rear and the 68 had the 'sunken in' look. My bad

[67 Badboy]

It's definitely a '68. '67s also had wings in the front grille where the horsey is. Early '68s had 289s. After April, they had the 302 and a few lucky ones got the 428 Cobra Jet.

Front and rear side markers only came on '68s. The rear taillights are identical on both years.

I still drive the '67 that my dad gave me back in 1974. It was my first car and still going strong!
