What is this part? (1993 Lightning)

This was in the glove box of the '93 Lightning I just purchased. Since I got it at auction, I never got to speak to the seller to find out what this is. The truck has a factory security system installed so I'm wondering if this is related to that system.

Does it have a receiver hitch? Looks like a trailer brake controller.

That is a Ford branded Code Alarm shock sensor for the dealer installed alarm systems of the 90's. Installed 100's of them before I joined the Army.

Thanks for the response. The truck does have a security system, reportedly a factory system. I'm waiting for my Marti report to figure out what this truck actually had from the factory vs. the dealer.
