I am curious as to what the rest of you do when the weather sucks and doing anything outside isn't really possible?

I tend to hunker down and smoke stuff or make hearty meals.

I am waiting for another storm to start within the hour. We are looking at a week straight of rain and snow.

This morning about 630 I started cold smoking some cheese.

Later around 1 I have 3 racks of ribs hitting the smoker.

That’s always fun!

I find it’s a good excuse to clap some cheeks and day drink.

I'd love to bang the wife but my mother in law lives with us and my wife doesn't like hearing her comments at the dinner table.

Video games, work on the race karts, cook, clean, catch up on hobbies. Right now I'm learning leather working so I can make a decent holster. I'm also in the process of diy tailoring my clothes. There's always something I wish i had time for

With 6" of snow today, making the standing total 19" I was out plowing the driveway and using the snow blower for the close in stuff and sidewalks. Now I am kicking back and watching some College Basketball.

Supposed to start warming up this coming week. But that is no guarantee that the snow is over with. 4 winters ago we got 18" of snow the first week of May FFS. It was gone a week later, but still. The last 3 winters, the snow was gone by the end of March, first of April.

When I'm stuck indoors during the winter months, I inevitably end up watching 3-hour episodes of On Patrol Live. The re-boot of the discontinued Live PD. I'm watching S-1 E-61 as we speak.

I pace the house…cause havoc on the kids and wife. I hate winter. It’s why I plan major mods because I can’t handle the boredom. I also work a lot more. Working remotely makes that easy.
