I change mine yearly as well regardless of miles. Oil oil tends to accumulate moisture, and byproducts of combustion which include carbon and other hydrocarbons which can form sulfuric acid which is, long story short, not a good thing.

So to avoid that, regardless of how much usage a particular item has had, i always change oil before storage. So for my cars, thats typically the final drive in the fall when i decide winter has finally arrived (usually when they throw the salt on the road).

Same goes for my lawn equipment and snowblower and such. After final use, i change the oil and then put it away.
I use to change mine before winter storage. Over the years I've done it both ways. I went 18 months on oil change intervals with the 03 cobra. I run Amsoil signature series 10w30.

Otherwise I've always done oil change yearly. It's honestly a lot of work when I need to change oil in 6 cars and almost feels like a waste. Especially seeing it look brand new when I'm draining it.

I hear ya. I drove 7 miles on my car last summer on an oil change. WHen it came out it looked like it was fresh out of the bottle.

Pulled my axle out.

Changing out the cat-back, installing offset caliper brackets and fox-lenght axles, installing my panhard bar, and swapping out the 3.73's for some 3.27's., in addition to some fresh paint and hardware

I'll be installing a new transmission this weekend. Just went with a tremec t5 since it's just a cruiser.
Where did you buy it from? I'm curious how long mine is going to last.

I needed a hood prop rod for my 91. A previous owner had removed it and put hood shocks that won’t stay up. I got one, stripped all the old paint off and rattle canned it. Woohoo it looked great. Then I went to install it and the bolt wasn’t going in very good. I decided to chase it with a small tap and broke the tap off in the hole. An easy job got a lot harder. I ended up beating on it with punches and got it out. None of my drill bits would touch it. Sometimes an easy job can turn into a challenge!

This type of thing is what happens every time I work on my cars. It’s never smooth and easy. It’s always some kind of snafu that causes me to want to throw tools across the garage.

What made you decide to go with the Borla? Should be a nice sounding setup.
