Yes Glenn I started working when I was 14 and purchased it at 17 from my neighbor. It has 87K O.G. Miles on it. 5spd, GT, wild strawberry red, and titanium lower.

That's awesome brother! I had one too, but traded it for my Roush. Big mistake. I should have NEVER gotten rid of that car........... It had Tan interior too. Really rare for the fox body GT's.

Fox body mustangs are "it" for me. It was the car when I was growing up and that feeling never left me. you should surprise your wife with one. I'm sure it won't be as bad as you think ha

I drove it to work today. Got it out for the 1st time this year. I’ll snap a pic later if it.
Yeah man, if you can. I drove mine around today for a bit too. Had to get my fix.

I hear you Todd. I have looked around. The bad ones are bad and the good ones cost a pretty penny nowadays. My brother has an 89LX. It's a 5.0 with an automatic. He wanted to use it for drag racing and ripped out the A/C and heater. He offered to let me buy it, but I want a comfortable driver, not a ragged out POS LMAO!!!

You've seen my cars and know I have high standards when it comes to my vehicles. So, I'm pretty sure I would have to spend a lot up front to buy a nice one or break out the checkbook to build one that needs work.

Oh well, guess I'll keep kicking myself for trading my fox body.

I kick myself even harder because this is what someone did to it when they owned it.

SOB.........

when you find the one, you'll know. I don't want to know what became of my old cars. That's a sad pic

Man I love that car. It is no doubt our generation's 69 Camaro. I want another one

Thanks man. Love your stable as well. Actually leaning towards an F-150 when I replace my Fusion in a year or two.

Good idea Patrick. My wife has a 2014 F-150 Lariat. It's an awesome truck. Also, when I go to a big Mustang car show out in San Diego I use it to tow one of my Cobra's out there. Plenty of room for my gear and the family. It's also very comfortable. I know I love my wife's F-150 :D............

Since we are on the topic of Fox Stangs, I’ll share mine... 1989 GT vert I bought in ‘91. It has 116k miles and it’s my only car I don’t drive. It’s permanently parked awaiting a full restoration.

1993 Cobra I bought in ‘14. It’s original down to its tires and comes out occasionally for exercise. It currently has 11k and change.

As for an F150... I have a 2010 Super Crew Lariat. It’s a great roomy truck. The only complaint is from my teen sons - the rear seats are straight up. They do not recline. For a long road trip, they prefer my wife’s SUV because of this.

^^^^ That's bad@$$ Goose. It's like you have your own Ford Service Shop. Freaking Awesome!!!

You're right about the F-150 back seat. Plenty of room, but no recline option. I'm always driving, so an option I don't worry about lmao!!!

That 93 Cobra...

My dad sold one he restored recently. Only rode in it a couple times but still remember how hard that thing pulled in 2nd gear.

I needed to run some errands after work so I took the Cobra. It was fun just to cruise it around. I got the usual stares of course. I ended up behind a GT4 at one point. But there was too much traffic to do anything.

Turned a 2 mile round trip to the grocery store into about 20.

Ran up and down the freeway looking for action and all I got was some BMW; not sure if 335 or M or what but it had the big hump in the hood. I wouldn't have even bothered but he was all up my ass on the on ramp. Pulled away getting sideways in both 2nd and 3rd; ****ing wind here leaves sand/dust on the road. Soon as we get on the freeway he jams all the way to the fast lane and looks like I'm gonna get the ricer flyby. Put 2-3 busses on him while in 4th from 70-@120. Never saw him again.
