What compression? Highest octane here in CA is 91, Will be using a D1 Procharger, Want to make close to 700rwhp with 98 cobra cams and possible E85, but would like to know which pumps to support 700 with race gas and which ones for E85.
If there’s a huge price difference maybe ill stick with race gas, its 8.00 bucks here and plan to use the race tune maybe once a 1-2 times a month. E85 its 35 miles away. Thnks

Want to stay returnless, dont plan to upgrade into a F1A might sold the car before that.

Brenspeed/Saleen Stroker 302, 9.8 compression, 80lb injectors, running GT500 pumps, JMS PM1000 BAP @ 18V, -8AN line w/ aeromotive filter, and modified fuel rails. Kenne Bell 2.6 @ 20psi car makes 670rwhp on E85.

The 405's are not fine. The 405's are not E85 rated. Just because they haven't failed yet, doesn't mean they won't.

2 of my 3 failed in less than a year.

The answer is simple. Call the manufacturer. The 405's ARE NOT E85 rated. Walbro will specifically tell you, it's not a question of "IF", but "WHEN" they will fail.

Your fuel is the most important thing in your setup. Why play with it.

E85 vs 91 will really limit your compression. E85 only I would do 10.5:1 compression or maybe a little more.....for 91 octane Id would do 9:1 or 9.5:1

80LB injectors and whatever pump the E85 guys suggest.

Bout right, you really can get away with 11:1 if you are staying under 25psi with e85. E85 is much more forgiving that pump.

9 to 9.5 is about right on for pump

Derek (Black306) is selling pumps similar to the 340's that work well for returnless,he did a bench test and they crushed the GT pumps by a good bit flow wise. I thought the 405/465 were for return and Not variable voltage compatable?
