Just got mt JLT for the 13 GT500, almost embarrassed to install it, looks so cheap. Guess I'll need to get it painted or something. No more CF like on my 07...

Maybe you can have it hydro dipped. It seems like everyone is doing it and they offer endless options.

I ordered my JLT straight from the company because they can paint match it for like $30 extra, looks great, and ive always run JLT, not a big fan of many other brands, jlt puts R&D into their products and the owners seem to be good people and very helpful.

I would either get it hydro dipped so it looks like carbon fiber or get it painted. It does suck JLT doesn't sell the carbon fiber intakes anymore.

I have a JLT 127 carbon I'd want to get rid of. I think the billet FRPP 140mm and the monoblade are the way to go for a little better power on these machines. The carbon intake surely can't flow to any exact standard the way it's finished on the inside.

Problem with the 140mm is it's near 600.00 for a billet tube and it has no way to connect to the throttlebody . I could CNC lathe out the same 140mm part for probably 60.00 using a 6061 tube.

and then you have the issue with the hood closing.....And tuning it.

Only issue I had was the hood blanket, and that I corrected....Also had no problem connecting the 140mm MAF to the throttle body !!

JLT 127 here and very happy I picked it up before they discontinued them. Combined w/ the FRPP mono the car runs great.

I am running the hydrodipped carbon fiber look JLT tube with stock MAF and TB. I am pleased with the result and would do it again.

I'm running the FRPP res delete. It looks terrible and is a real PITA to pull the damn resonator out of the rubber fittings on install, I ended up scratching my shock tower a bit and had to buy Ford touch up paint afterwards. I wish I would have just gotten the JLT res delete to begin with.

CJ140 with my own custom made 157mm intake tube. Key word related to all cold air intakes is "Bellmouth" not all have them. Do your research.
