Valve cover painting?

My motor is out of the car so this would be a good time to dress it up some. I want to paint my valve covers wrinkle black. Any tips? I planned on cleaning them real good, spraying some primer, then spraying the black. All heat treated of course.

I think you pretty know what you need to do. Prepping the metal before painting is the key to longevity.

just did mine with vht wrinkle. came out pretty nice. ill try to remember to get pics.
