I have both setups like you guys posted. I just like that under-hood setup and was wondering who makes a better light. I was watching a car show and they was using one while working on that car. It seem to put out a lot of light.

I do most of the work on ours cars at night in my garage. I've always had a problem with getting good light under the hood. Then I found this.

Automotive Under-hood Work Light | Overstock.com

Just wondering if anyone has a light setup like this and what they think about it.
This would really help doing engine work on the car.

Those FREAKING THINGS ROCK!!

That is the best lead light I have ever seen in my life!

One of our techs where I used to work had one, he was older than me so light was pretty important to him too.

I have not seen a better under hood light solution than that type.

If you are pulling a dash or interior out also... they are the best I have seen.:beer:

Wow, $100? Screw that! Just wait til
Daylight.

Sometimes I wish I could. I work night shift and its just easier on my body to stay on that schedule even on my off days.

That is what I figured. The first thing I noticed on the car show was how much light it put out. It really got my attention.

Too bad they are out of stock. :dw:

They have a bunch of them over on Amazon. Just gotta decide which one I want.

What the hell is up with all the sun posts?
Is that supposed to be comedy?:smmon:
Most people work on their cars in a garage not out in the front yard on blocks.
