Been there and done that.:bash: Plead guilty and bring a wade of cash(500+ unless you know how much it will be) with you for the fee. Lawyer is a waste of money IMO since obviously you are guilty. If you have to serve a day or two, ask if that 14 hours can be used to take some time off.

Unless reckless driving on your record might prevent you from getting a future job, then try to fight it.

for future employment you can have misdemeanors and no one ever really think of it. employers look for FELONY'S!! that is all they ask you on applications. however if you work for a employer that is a private contractor for federal agencies, as long as your honest and up front with a explination of what pinned a misdemeanor on you then they look past it.

regardless bill is right you can get a lawyer and defend you or go in wiht a note pad and study his staement then go for the jugular.
