Still wish someone from the Avs had taken their skate off and went after Bertuzzi. POS deserved it. These fights certainly bring back a fun part of the sport that's been lost

The best hockey fight ever was between the Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche. The puck hadn't even hit the ice when Darren McCarty dropped the gloves and dropped a Colorado player. By the end of the game even the goalies went at it. The two teams went at it in both 1997 and 1998 - there was no love between them.

And they had bad blood for at least five years. They were both on top of their divisions and winning cups like crazy so the rivalry was intense.

The bench clearing brawls were pretty crazy but I like a good one on one. As a Bruins fan these were a couple of memorable ones.
