Allah Akbar

Allahu Akbar (allāhu akbar, الله أَكْبَر) is Arabic for "God is the greatest." Akbar is the elative form of the adjective kabīr (great, big, important), meaning "greater, greatest, or very great." The elative combines the meanings of comparative (greater than) and superlative (most great). However, the elative is only explicitly a term of comparison when used with the preposition min, e.g. Allāhu akbar min mala'ikatihi, "Allah is greater than His angels", Allāhu Akbar min kulli shay "God is greater than all". Been hit in the plates before. Not anything like that situation. I was clearing a building where they said the bottom floor was clear and we were to go in the back entrance, well when we shot the door hinges and made our way in we ran into 6 insurgents and they got off a couple of rounds before we nutralized them. They hit me twice in my front sappy plate, shattered it and bruied me, but I got right up and kept on moving. It'll knock the wind outta ya for a sec, but those plates are a damn blessing.

During a routine patrol in Baghdad June 2, Army Pfc. Stephen Tschiderer, a medic, was shot in the chest by an enemy sniper, hiding in a van just 75 yards away. The incident was filmed by the insurgents.
Tschiderer, with E Troop, 101st “Saber” Cavalry Division, attached to 3rd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment, 256th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, was knocked to the ground from the impact, but he popped right back up, took cover and located the enemy’s position.

After tracking down the now-wounded sniper with a team from B Company, 4th Battalion, 1st Iraqi Army Brigade, Tschiderer secured the terrorist with a pair of handcuffs and gave medical aid to the terrorist who’d tried to kill him just minutes before.
