I keep hearing a lot about this lately.Have you looked into CBD oil? It has helped my wife's anxiety a lot. She's on 10 mg a day and it takes about 4 weeks of everyday use for it to make a difference.

I can literally take almost a fifth a vodka and get zero drunkeness. That's why I started this thread.
Yeah I think I need to walk away from the booze all together. It just does not solve any situation I am currently in. Just an excuse and crutch.
Sometimes I think half the reason I drink so much is because I am bored. I hate living where I do and don't have much to do.
I can literally take 350mg caffeine and I get zero jitters.
I’ve had our espresso machine for 17 years. Not sure what I’d do without it.Probably minimum 3-4 sodas a day and double shot coffee 3-4 days a week.
Have a cappuccino machine and in laws just got me a deluxe keurig as housewarming. Oh boy.
I call my lifting weights a lifestyle. I've been doing it 3+ days a week for 13+ years.I’m addicted/obsessed with lifting weights. I’m never satisfied and do it all the time even if I don’t feel like it. I could never stop.
I really don’t want to though.
I could have the best day but if I didn’t lift it would be a shit day unless it’s the weekend. I don’t let myself do it on the weekends.
The only time I’m not too bad is when I travel but when I get home it’s worse than ever.
I see a couple of you guys saying you may be doing what you're doing because of boredom. Is it still considered addiction at that point? Cause you arnt doing it cause you need to, but because there isnt anything else to do.
As someone who's been in that position i do. I dont drink, smoke or dip. but, I live in the middle of no where and all of my friends chose my girlfriend over me when we broke up. So, for a long time i literally went to work then home then sat on the couch til i went to bed. Did that for almost a year. Having that kind of isolation made we want to drink and sometimes i wish i coul but, i just cant stomach any kind of alcohol.its 2018, almost 2019.
You really going to buy ' there's nothing else to do'? That's an excuse.

as someone who comes from a smaller town (only thing to do was go to the bowling alley, no movie theatre, no malls, nothing) with 4 generations of alcoholics on my fathers side, no. I don't agree. Its a conscious choice to sip alcohol / smoke / whatever the ****.
Saying you couldn't play video games instead? Read a book? Teach yourself a skill? Come on man.
At least call a spade a spade. We're all adults here.

Well, I quit smoking about sixteen years ago, and I have maybe two beers a week. I quit doing heavy drugs a lifetime ago. I must have maybe two or three cups of coffee a day. I have a couple of addictions that haven't left me, but I'm not spilling the beans.
