It is been more than a year since the last time i drifted, i can not wait for this weekend. I spent the last weekend getting the car ready for it. It will be at Three palm speedway, some 2 1/2 hours from here on the west coast.
It is a oval track, which will be my first time on a real track, before just big parking lots or county line. Of course i will bring my go pro .
Car looks like shit with the 4x4 looks and the 1 1/2 front wheel spacers, lol

3 pairs of tires should been enough for at least half day of fun, lol

It looks like a lot of fun…..to do in someone else's car! lol Do you mask up the rear bumper so it doesn't get sand blasted? Your car looks too clean to do this.

Edit: and like said above, Das a lotta steerin!

That's sick man. I have messed around with mine in parking lots but nothing like an event. Who makes those arms and what else to get that much angle out of the front

No masking tape on the bumper, when it gets to bad i will paint it, maybe after i paint it

My friend did all the work, everything is custom made. If you want i can send you his info.
Modified spindles, 1 1/2 inch wheels and now need arms.

Oh ok cool pic. So I'm guessing that they were shortened so with the same about of input from the rack it just turns more. Being that it's less leverage on the spindle did it make the steering a lot heavier?

That's cool I would like to do it just to quicken up my steering. Have fun and can't wait to see some video.
Without the 1 1/2 wheel spacer it rubs everywhere on uturn, so driving on the streets you have to payattention
NICE! I would like to learn how to drift. Guess it's time to look into renting a skidpad? >: )
Thats where i learned, nothing to hit but cones, lol

Yes, because of tires, but i only do it twice a year, and usually buy tires used but almost new, like someone that bought the wrong size tire and nobody wants that size, usually a get a good deal, only once i bought new tires.

Did you give up on drag racing?
No i did not. Still love to go down the strip, just need to buy some drag radials. Still chasing my 10 second slip, lol.
I never had the right setup for traction, my car was always slammed on 18 inch tires the only time i had traction was on 18 inch hossier drag radials but it was the day i found out i had a melted piston and still did a 11.2 on 7 cylinders, so probably next time i should finally get it

Nice setup, car looks good. Those arms will get you some decent angle. I should be getting mine next week. I went with Mike Goddards setup with +2. Should have a ton of angle with my modified spindles.
