My car is the best because i've made it the best. I bought it just after turning 17 with money i had been saving for years. When I first bought it it wasn't drivable because the transmission and rear end were out and the paint had horrible orange peel in it but that didn't deter me. Over the years i've had it i've made numerous improvements all on my own with my own knowledge and money to make the car what it is today. The car has never seen a garage since i have owned it and all of the work has been done on the carport at my house; including pulling the motor and replacing a transmission while it was snowing.

Well I guess I will add mine to the list.

2004 Mystichrome Cobra #848.

I saw this car on Ebay still on the dealers showroom floor. After watching it for 3 weeks and it not reaching the reserve I said, "What the heck," and emailed them for a price. The next day they emailed the price back and after a little negotions and trading paper she was all mine. Well, my daughter's and mine. She doesn't have a big list of mods just the following.

17 x 10.5 rear Chrome Cobra replicas with Nitto 555 Extreme sized 315/35/17.
UPR composite shift knob.
Chrome Pulley Cover.

I keep her well groomed and polished along with her older sister, who is a 1990 Mustang GT. Her engine bay is polished and shiny. Her smooth lines reflect the admiration of others. Where ever she goes she draws attention. People flock to her to look at her, to touch her, to want her. She is always there to please the eyes of the beholder. She may be green for you. Blue for me. Purple for others. Black is the color she shows in the greyest of days or late in the night. People who see her watch me pamper her. They say I spend more time cleaning, shining, polishing and showing her lots of love. She gets more attention than my wife and times. But she demands nothing more than premium gasoline and a bath from time to time. They wonder how I can spend so much time and sweat taking care of her so she can take care of me.

She is no slouch under the hood. When dyno'd, to others disblief and naysaying, 396.2 rwhp and 384 rwtq.

I hope you choose me as the "Best of the Best." She has won many awards, trophies, accolades and hearts but winning this would truly make her the "Best of the Best!"

2002 Saleen S281 SC Convertible # 002

Saleen optional upgrades:
18x10 rear wheel upgrade
Chrome wheel upgrade
Saleen leather seating
Saleen speedster package
Saleen 13" brake system

Current customer installed mods:
Ford Focus fuel pump
42lb Ford Racing fuel injectors
SCT 2800 90mm MAF
Accufab 75mm throttle body
Demolet Tunable Induction # 4 meter forward system
SCT X-Cal III tune by C&S motorsports, Omaha, NE

Additional facts:
Saleen is # 002 of 2002.
This car was driven by the head engineer of Saleen for its first year or two, Bill Tally.
Trunk lid signed by Liz Saleen(wife), as well as the normal Steve Saleen signature.

Car is meticulously taken care of. Car is always garaged and only sees sun; owned since November 23, 2007 and has only seen rain once. Always clean and always has a coat of wax. I think my Saleen is the "Best of the Best" because of the amount of care that goes in to keeping the car in pristine condition. When stored for the winter, fuel is full and Stabil is added. Oil is changed prior. Put up on jack stands to avoid flat spots in tires. Interior is cleaned and seals are lubricated. Here are a few pics...

nice car, but really? contest details say 1-3 pics, you have more than that of just your shiny exhaust, if everyone put a pic of every clean part on thier can, it would get a little out of hand. In all fairness, i'd say delete some.

"SVTPerformance has partnered with Clean Tools, makers of the world famous Absorber, to bring the members of SVTP a chance to win a great prize package containing many of Clean Tools great products. All you have to do to enter the contest is post 1-3 pictures of your Ford vehicle along with a short description of it and your mods and of why your vehicle is the best of the best."
