http://www.svtperformance.com/forum...36-svtp-nation-mustang-week-2012-day-1-a.htmlIt's July, it's hotter than the gates of Hell, there are Mustangs as far as the eye can see, and we're in Myrtle Beach, that could only mean one thing. It's Mustang Week 2012 and SVTP is there to bring pics of each day's events.
Today brought us the first official event of Mustang Week 2012, the Annual Cruise-In. This year's event differed in location from years past. Instead of cramming into the relatively tight confines of the Planet Hollywood parking lot, the Mustang Week staff moved a block south to the sprawling Palace Theater complex (Home of Le Grand Cirque Adrenaline). This made a huge difference in the amount of cars that were able to attend at any one time.
Though the event didn't officially start until 12:00pm cars started trickling in as early as 8:00am, and some stayed well after the scheduled end time of 4:00pm. Those Mustang fans in attendance certainly didn't leave disappointed. Not only were there tons of Pony cars, both classic and late model, but Vaughn Gittin Jr was also present to sign autographs and reveal his signature 2013 RTR Mustangs.
Tomorrow we will be traveling to the Myrtle Beach Speedway for autocross, fun runs around the NASCAR sanctioned oval, and the Epic Annual SVTPerformance.com / Discount Tire Direct Burnout Competition. Until then, please enjoy these pics of the cruise-in:
