1.) Completely dropping the transmission crossmember gives you a little more room to work.
2.) IMO the hardest part was getting the rubber shift boot to seat, I found it easier to use the alternate method mentioned in the install vid instead of the one shown.
3.) If you have a GT, you basically have to have someone hang on the drive shaft to get it low enough to remove/install the front/top bolt.
1. 100% Agreed, there isn't much room in there to do much.
2. I used jack stands for the install and to get the boot on I had to jack the tranny up all the way to get the boot on, the way in the video didn't work very well for me as well.
3. I had my roommate pushing down on the driveshaft from inside the car and I was hanging on the tranny from under the car. Not only was I hanging but I had to try and push the tranny from side to side to get the bolt in and out.. Dropping the transmission will probably happen if I ever have to take the MGW off.
Overall I couldn't ask for anything more with the MGW, install went well and the only transmission issues I have now are inherent MT82 problems.
