friendly races with my buddies 97 Cobra

BBK Longtube, Bassani O/R X-pipe, Mac mufflers, 4" pulley on D1SC, Procharger 3-core race intercooler, SCT 2600 MAF, 42lb FRPP injectors, Walbro 255lph pump.

I just have full exhaust and K&N filters. Oh, and one bright ass shift light that came with the car when I bought it, lol

first race we went from a dig and I was long gone, he was spinning, etc so we didnt post this one.

now for the vids... this vid we did 3 honks, first gear roll...

third race we went from 40 and we both started at second.. him in his powerband and me at the very bottom of second (best race and filmed outside the cars)

you can tell by the dyno sheet that cobra has no timing and they are trying to save the bottom end from all that power... by the HUGE DIP in the MEAT of his power band.

Nice runs though. Viper runs good and nice shifts.



Nice setup on the cobra though, it will shine later on with a bottom end.
I wonder if he put the d1sc cause of my old setup. I was the ONLY ONE to try it.. and had HUGE SUCCESS. Most power out of a stock longblock 01 at that time. There is a ton of search info on here and other ford forums about my setup. stock bottom 01 cobra with a D1SC and 3 core made 514rwhp pump gas 93 and 8lbs. Also with no timing trying to save the motor.. LOVE that car and miss it dearly!

LOL... you definitely whoop'd ur buddies 501 rwhp Cobra, almost seems they got the numbers mixed up on the dyno sheet, If ur car is making an uncorrected est. of 350-400rwhp, then that cobra must be making 105-150rwhp (by the way you were yanking him on EVERY run)

The gear ratio's are so off that I was almost 4k rpm at 30 in first while he was bogging, and he's at the bottom of second at 40 then while I'm mid-range, this was the race that we were side-by-side.

its all good man, we will definately hit it again next weekend... I wish we got an in car vid of the run where we filmed it from outside... that was the best run. You are gonna KILL me once you get gears...

forget the haters or the guys posting OTHER vids with DIFFERENT cars. They arent in colorado, they arent driving, they are just online racing... it is what it is, we had fun.. thats all you can ask for

I wish we went out earlier for sure so we could have done it longer

I love the sound of Vipers. So, it takes a modded up Cobra to beat a nearly stock Viper (non-08) by 3/4 of a car - big deal, I would rather have a Viper any day of the week.
