Here’s a very first look at the ’24 Cadillac CT5 refresh.

The CT5 refresh will offer a revised front fascia that includes updated headlights and some slight changes to the lower front grille, which sees the ’24 CT5 ditching the “semi-smiley” aesthetic. The new headlights will bring it in-line with the ’24 XT4, which is still yet to debut.

Inside, the Cadillac CT5 will receive some updates to the interior, including a revised cockpit similar to the upcoming ’24 Cadillac XT4, which will also be a refresh. The XT4 refresh will feature a wide curved display that houses both the instrument cluster and the infotainment screen.

The ’24 CT5 is expected to soldier on with with three engine options, the turbocharged 2.0L, rated at 237 hp and 258 lb.-ft., the twin-turbo 3.0L V6, with 335 hp and 405 lb.-ft. of torque, and the 6.2L, with 668 hp and 659 lb.-ft. of torque in the CT5-V Blackwing.

Expect an official debut in early 2023.

I still can't believe Cadillac discontinued the CT6. No big sedan from Cadillac? The CT6 is a phenomenal car. I love mine.

My biggest gripe with the CT4/5 was the interior. It was very "Chevy". I know the interior is going to be the biggest improvement on this refresh.

How’s the 4.2 feel with a car weighting that much?

My car is a 2017 which was before the mid cycle refresh and before the 4.2 was an option. My car is equipped with the 3.0TT V6. It's 400 hp but the car is exceptionally quick for it's size. All aluminum, 4 wheel steering, adaptive cruise, night vision, a lot of great features and tech. My only gripe is the trans. It's very temperamental and shifts hard during mild acceleration which is unfortunate for a "Cadillac". At WOT the car shifts fantastic.
