Spring snow FTL

damn, I've been stuck inside most of the day.

So, the news has been going on for 3 days on this big storm, I get up at 5am and there's not a flake of snow anywhere.

Then I go outside at 9am to put my car in the garage and it looks like this:

1 1/4" nothing too bad.


Then I go back out at 1:30pm:

about 8"

Right now it's 3:30 and there's about 9 1/2" - 10" on the ground and it's still coming down pretty good

Last week the weather was in the mid 70's currently it's a blazing hot 20 degrees outside. The only thing I like about the spring snow is that it gives me an excuse to have fun with my 4X4.

Im up in Ft Collins and I got to leave work at 1230 to head home. I live on the south end of Horsetooth Reservoir and it is just pure white out by my place.

My work closed at noon because of this snow and on the way home I just about got t boned by a sliding truck. If I didn't see it out of the corner of my eye and floor it I would have been toast. I'm not driving until this crap clears up.

Yeah its beautiful here in Denver! Stang hasn't seen the light of day for two months though. Been driving the DD Escort around. I figured we would get one good March storm. Well we got it!

I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANYMORE SNOW! LOL! I guess that's the downside of living in Denver, eh? We saw out last snow in early March. But we sure had out share of it this Winter. Just out of curiosity, what is the record for Spring snow out there?

no clue but it was mid 70's last weekend and supposed to warm up again then snow again Wed or something.

Taking the viper out for sure, the roads are starting to clear up. I am at home painting my house since it was bad out this morning and work said its our choice to come in or not, lol. tough choice LOL but I stayed home to keep working on my remodel project I have going on with one of my houses
