Had a great time at the TN Rod Run this past weekend. Weather was so so. While i was there i bought a Nikon D3100 DSLR so here are a few pic... Enjoy :beer:

Story behind this was a miscommunication with the Navada Highway Patrol. They ordered 17 and 34 arrived. SHP took the 17 they ordered and left the other 17. Ford then send 14 to SALEEN and 3 where sold to public. This is one of them. had 53k and was asking $10,500. It WAS MINT

Rat Rods are pretty popular there. This was one of the best i saw

2009 F-650 with 6 doors and an Excursion Rear setup. it was a head turner.

2010 Dodge Ext. Cab With the Semi 10lug Conversion

Mint 2004 Whipple Charged SVT Cobra was asking $17k with low miles.

This was a running drive able 383 stroker engine. Really neat

Insane 1987 Buick Grand National. 406 Stroker, 102mm Turbo, 34lb boost, E85 made 1,6xx RWHP... had build sheet. Jaw Dropper !!!

Old Ford Truck. Its amazing how far vehicles have come... 0% Rust here..

This red light on the park way slowed stuff up. Construction Sucks.

Last but not least... i had to fill up because gas was 26cents cheaper then NC...

I used to get down to TN for shows a lot when I was in my early 20's. I sure do miss cruising in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. :rockon:

I haven't been to a show down there since one of my buddies called me at 6am to come bail him out of the Sevier County Jail. :lol1: His dumbass got picked up for drunk/disorderly while the rest of us were at our hotel sleeping.

He continued to be an ass the rest of the trip. We left him there. Took him an extra day to get home. :lol:

The F-350 with the trash-can exhaust tip was way over the top. And that Mini '57 BelAir was definitely too extreme, at least for me. But there were a ton of truly awesome vehicles in that bunch. It looked to be a really great even.

Nice pictures! The 2nd is a Willys Americar they were made in the late 30s early 40s IIRC. They are some of my favorite hot rods.
