You are right about it being a B head 96-98 Cobra.

But if I remember correctly the FRPP catalog back in the day did in fact have a 2002 Cobra Engine. It is not an Engine out of a 2002 Cobra (Only Aussie made) but a 99-01 Cobra engine built in 2002 and list as a 2002 Cobra Create Motor. Either way its not one of them.

Reminds me a bit of what guys used to do back in the mid '70s with V8 swaps in Vega and Pinto wagons. They were ultimate sleepers then and here we have a modern day ultimate sleeper. I mean I'm looking at this car and falling asleep as I typeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Oops! Seriously, nice sleeper. Not my taste at all but it's pretty cool in its own right.

Fourth, The price he paid for that motor is just stupid

The Kugel kit was very well designed and there have been numerous V8 conversions on the Focus and the chassis seems to hold up to the power just fine.

Ford actually built two with 5.0 cammers and at least one company did a 500hp Terminator swap including the T56 and IRS.

There's also one sedan that was built with a twin turbo 32v 4.6 and another ZX3 with a TT 5.0 pushrod setup.

Seriously, how much fun would it be to spank Corvettes and Porsches in a Focus wagon?

Random V8 conversions.

lol reminds me of the last time i was at the track. there was a mid 90's civic hatch with a rwd conversion and a carbed chevy 350 sticking out of the hood . i still cant get over how they can fit any kind of v8 under the stock hood of a focus

Looks like it has potential, but you can tell it's going to have lots of problems. The most prominent problem being it's a shitty Focus.
